Dogs / Golf Course

We would like to take a moment to remind everyone of the rules surrounding the use of the GC (Golf Course) during both open and closed seasons. We appreciate that the course is enjoyed by many for non-golfing activities in the off season (CC Skiers, Sleders, Dogs and Human walkers), and we understand that one of the most popular uses is allowing pets, especially dogs, to get much needed exercise.

That said, in order to keep our course in top condition, we kindly ask that all residents adhere to the following guidelines when using the course with their dogs:

  1. Pick Up After Your Pet – We have noticed an increasing number of pet waste events around the course, particularly in noticeable areas. Please ensure that you clean up after your dog so that we can maintain the beauty of the course for all to enjoy.
  2. Avoid the Greens and Sand Traps – Please keep your pets away from the greens and sand traps. These areas are delicate and can easily be damaged by excited dogs. There is plenty of open space to let your dog run without causing harm to these sensitive parts of the course and causing the neighborhood undue repair expenses.

When the golf season begins, there must be no dogs on the course for the safety of both golfers and pets. This is especially important for our neighbors in the condominium association, as we want to ensure that no one is at risk of injury from a stray tee shot or a startled pet.

By following these simple guidelines, we can continue to enjoy the use of this valuable community space safely and responsibly.

Thank you for your cooperation.
Sincerely,
The Board of Directors, CCE
